OCULAR Interface is proud to share the successful completion of its first-ever webinar, held under the theme “The Digital Doctor – How AI Can Help Eye Care Providers Without Replacing Them.” The event marked a significant milestone in our journey to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and eye care education.
The webinar was launched in Zoom on 11 May 2025 at 10.30 AM (BST) or 3.00 PM (IST)
The session featured Kristi Sharma from Vision Science Academy as the keynote speaker. Kristi offered thought-provoking insights into how artificial intelligence can enhance clinical decision-making, streamline workflows, and support — rather than replace — the essential role of eye care professionals.
Subhadeep Das, representing OCULAR Interface, expertly hosted the webinar, ensuring an engaging and smooth experience for all attendees. Meanwhile, Varun Ranganathan introduced OCULAR Interface’s mission to empower eye care professionals through innovative education and global collaboration.
Key Highlights:
- A good number of participants were present and interacted very well during the in-webinar polls and shared their thoughts.
- The talk culminated in an interactive Q&A which was conducted smoothly by Subhadeep and many participants put through their queries and Kristi answered them adeptly showing her deep knowledge in the field.
- All participants have a post-webinar quiz on their hands now. This will show their understanding of the topic and exciting cash prizes await the top three winners and the results will be announced soon.
